Our admission process has two channels to accommodate candidates from various educational backgrounds.
One is TCAS, the Thai national admission channel for those from schools in Thailand. The other IPAS, the open international channel for those from any educational backgrounds.

Differences between IPAS and TCAS

International Program Admission System (IPAS)

● Use standardised English proficiency scores.
● Use university-readiness test scores
- Special Track: SAT, ACT, or GED College-Ready score (165 or above).
- Regular Track: CMU Humanities Aptitude Test (take as part of the application process).
● Interview with program staff.
● Suitability: Applicable to all candidates.

Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS)

● Use TCASFolio (TCAS 1)
● In-person interview (TCAS 1)
● Use Thai A-level scores (TCAS 2 & 3)
● Suitability: Applicable to candidates from schools in Thai system that already have Thai A-level scores
